Simple Eye Makeup Look

Hi everyone,

I created this eye makeup look that's quick, simple and easy to create in a hurry and only using three shades of eye shadows.

This look is great for Blue and Green eyes because these shades really make your eyes pop!

Here is the eye look

To create this look I used these three
Inglot shades from the Freedom system all priced at €6 each.

L-R 335, 326 Bottom shade 450

The brushes used

L-R
Nima Nichola, Inglot 6SS and Blank Canvas Cosmetics E26

Step by step on how to achieve the look:

* Using the Inglot 6SS brush and the shade 355 blend it just above the crease in a backward and forwards motion (wind shield wipers). Building it up but by bit to create a nice colour intensity.
Blend into lower lash line too.

* Take the Blank Canvas Cosmetics E26 brush  and the shade 326 blend the shade right into the crease in the same motion. Build it up as dark as you like create intensity and dept.
Blend into lower lash line also.

* With the Nima Nichola brush take the shade 450 and blend into crease and up into the 335 shade and lower lash line. This will add colour and warm up the eye look. You can build this up as much as you like depending on person preference.

* Taking the shade 326 and Blank Canvas Cosmetics E26 brush blend the darker shade into the outer corners to darker the outer corners.

* Finish off look with mascara.

** You can add lashes if you wear lashes on a daily basis and build up the colours to a dark and strong as you like, or use as little as you like depending on what you prefair **

Reverse Shampoo'n

So recently I have been testing out the 'Reverse Shampoo'n' technique on my hair to see was it true in what it could do to your hair.

I myself have fine, but quite a lot of hair that tends to get greasy very quickly. My hair will only have that fresh look on the first day of being washed. So there is always a bottle of dry shampoo knocking about.

I had heard quite a lot about the ' Reverse Shampoo'n ' technique and said sure what's the harm give it a try!
How it works is... You condition your hair first and then shampoo twice. Yes strange as it may seem but that's how it goes.

So for a couple of weeks now I've been doing this instead of the regular Shampoo and condition method.

The shampoo I've been using is the

Tresemme Luxurious Moisture Shampoo and this is for Dy or Dull Hair.

The condition I've also been using is

Tresemme Colour Vibrance Protection Condtion

At the time I had picked both these 900ml bottles on special offer for only €4.50 per bottle. Which was a complete bargain!!

So what I do when I wash my hair is I wet my hair and condition my hair from root to tip and leave in the hair for 3-5 minutes.
I then rinse out the conditioner and shampoo twice as normal.
If I find my hair is quite knotty I'll brush my hair when the conditioner is working its magic. This helps remove all knots making it easier to brush when drying my hair.

Now some of you may be thinking... Does your hair not need to be clean before you condition it? No! Your hair still gets all the goodness from the conditioner.
I questioned that too.

The first time I tried 'Reverse Shampoo'n ' I was shocked at how great my hair felt and looked.
My hair had much more texture and body and almost felt more light on my head... If that even makes sense?!
My hair dryed so much quicker and easier which was great also.

The real test was to see how long I would get out of my hair after doing this. I normall wash my hair every second day.... I got 4 days! On day 5 it had started to look a little greasy so I repeated the same method of washing my hair and I then got the same amount of time also.

Just to test things further incase it was just the shampoo I tried the regular method using the
same products and only got 2 days and my hair felt like it used to :(

Since then I ALWAYS use the ' Reverse Shampoo'n ' method and my hair feels, looks and manages much better.

This is definitely a must try in my opinion.

Has anyone tried it before? Or do you plan on trying it?
Let me know!! :)

Artistry Exact Fit Longwear Foundation

Hi everyone,

I was recently sent the NEW Artistry Exact Fit  Longwearing Foundation SPF15 24 Hour Flawless Performance & Natural Coverage€48.95

I was delighted when it arrived as you all know I CANT get enough of makeup!!

So the foundation is a natural looking foundation with a medium coverage which you can build to full coverage. It's designed to stay in place throughout the day/night and can withstand humidity and high temperatures.
It has a flawless effect to the skin along with leaving a radiant glow without needing to do any touch ups.
It's suitable for ALL skin types especially normal to oily skin and is available in 14 shades.

I was sent shade L5W1 which is a darker shade which is more suitable when wearing tan.
The durability was incredible it literally does not budge from the skin. When applying the foundation it glided onto the skin and blended great. It didn't take long to dry and even though it's designed to last 24 hours it doesn't look too matte on the skin which can happen with many long wearing foundations.
I didn't need to touch up my skin at all and just to check out how durable it was I splashed water over my face to see would it budge.... It didn't!!! It's more or less waterproof. I tried both with using power to set and without powder and very little oil came through on the skin. I would suggest though that if you do have any oily areas just apply translucent powder to them areas. This foundation is ideal for a night out and with the SPF only being 15 there is very little flash back ( no white face in pictures )

When removing the foundation you will need a remover or cleanser that is a bit tougher for more waterproof products. I used an oil based product which broke down the foundation and removed it nicely. If you don't have any baby oil or coconut oil would be also ideal.
The only thing I will say is if you are wearing it a few days in a row or everyday and you have dry/dehydrated skin use a primer before applying  it and make sure you use plenty of moisturiser both before and after as with it being basically waterproof it will dry out the skin a little if not used correctly.

I will definitely be picking up more of this when I run out as it deffo gets a thumbs up from me :)
I love a good foundation you just pop on and literally don't have to worry about until you're removing it.
