Ziaja Argan Oil Body Butter

I'm a big fan of Ziaja, they are a great skincare range. I suffer with dry/sensitive skin and find it sooo hard to get a moisturiser than WON'T irritate my skin...
Last year I stumbled across Ziaja in a pharmacy and picked some of it up.... Within a week of using it I was in love with the range!!

The range itself is budget friendly and comes in many many ranges for adults and children, from skincare to hair care.

When it comes to the cold Winter weather we all need that extra bit of protection on our skin and during these months I switch to the Argan Range.
It has natural Argan oils in the range so its that bit stronger in putting moisture back into the skin and suitable for sensitive/irritated skin.
It almost acts like a waterproof film on the skin so as the wind, rain and extreme cold and heat won't get in and effect the skin.
Heating from air conditioning systems and radiators cause havoc on the skin because its an intense heat and going from the cold into the heat isn't good on the skin.

This Argan Oil Body Butter is a Godsend!!! I apply it morning and night and to my hands once or twice throughout the day and my God the difference in my skin. I don't have the redness on the skin we all get in the Winter. My skin isn't dry or scaly.
Its plump and healthy looking.

This cream is a WINTER MUST HAVE in my opinion and with it being only €7.99 (220ml) a little goes a long with this product too so it will last quite awhile too.
The smell is AMAZING without it being to over powering on the skin... I hate creams that smell too strong.
Most pharmacys nationwide stock Ziaja but if not you can get it from Original Beauty online and you will find ALL the ranges there.

EVERYONE SHOULD BE USING THIS FOR THE WINTER !!!

As always if you have tried any of the range or plan on picking it up let me know how you get on :)

PS Love Your Hair Texturising Surf Hair Spray (review)

I picked up this Pennys Love Your Hair Texturising Surf Hair Spray last week and it was only €2.50 so said I'd give it a try and see how it goes.

So its designed to give you that wavy beach look and also give you some texture and volume. I have tried a few of these types of sprays before both in Salons and from the likes of Boots etc. Some I find can leave your hair with lots of knots and almost dirty looking.

This one I have to say I liked!!! You can spray it into wet/damp hair or when your hair is dry. I applied it to my hair the first time when it was freshly washed, dried of the heavy wet and sprayed it to my hair both mid lengths and to the roots. I then left it to dry the rest itself.. I didn't touch my hair for a few hours then.
It did have a wavy look without being greasy or dirty looking. There was very little knots which I liked and was super easy to brush my hair later that evening.
I applied it to my hair the next day on the mid section of the hair and gave it a shake all over at the roots also to give it a bit of a boost.
It actually looked better the second time around it was much more wavy looking and full of volume :)

If you sprayed this into your hair the  night before going out or early that day and put your hair into one big lose plat I'd say it would be much much more wavy!

Overall for €2.50 its deffo a bargain and will be using it more often.. its super handy when your on the go or if you haven't got time to blow dry your hair.

This would make a great stocking filler if your looking for just the simple bits and pieces that us women love..... Don't be too surprised if you find men using it next for that messy kind of look with their longer hair!!!

So as usual if you have tried this or is planning on picking it up let me know how you get on :)

Smokey grungy glittery spotlight eye look

Yesterday I created this look in a step by step guide over on my Snapchat. If you are on Snapchat and don't follow me... go follow @lipstickglitz   :)  I do step by step makeuo guides almost daily and talk about beauty products and complete waffle sometimes too!!!

The look I created was using the Urban Decay Smokey palette.. I had picked it up ages ago but never got around to using it
There was quite a lot of fall out from the shadows and to be honest I wasn't as keen on this palette compared to the rest.. that could be why I had not got around to using it.
There are 12 shades in the palette some matte and some shimmer.

For the transition shade I used "Combust" and blended it below the brow bone using a clean fluffy brush.
I then went in with the shade "whiskey" and using the same fluffy brush I blended that just above the crease and below the transition colour.
Using a flat brush I packed the shade "smoulder" onto the lid and built it up to an intense colour and blended that shade with the same fluffy brush into the crease also.
To darken up the outer and inner corners of the eye I used "black magic" with a small pencil brush and blending it out to remove any harsh lines with a clean fluffy brush.
To intensify the look I applied "armor" to the centre of the lid with a flat brush and using a silver/gold glitter I patted that over the "armor" shade on the lid.
Using a black eyeliner I applied that to the upper and lower waterline and plenty of mascara to add dept to the look.

To really intensify this look you add lashes either strip or individual this would make a fab Christmas look. A nice deep red or burgundy shade would also be lovely. I applied a nude shade just to quickly finish off the look.

Here's the finished eye look

I hope you like the look and if you would like to see more don't forget to check out my Snapchat if you are on it :)

Dr.Bronners Pure Castle Soap

The lovely Nikki from Wholefoods recently gifted me with some of the fav Dr.Bonner's Pure Castle Soap.
I had heard so much about this amazing range and was only delighted to try it out.

All the soaps, shower gels and liquid soaps are organicly made from oils, sea salt and many other natural ingredients.

The packaging is lovely, bright and neat which I loved and super easy to open.... There's nothing worse than when you are in the shower and you can't open a product :(

So I used the Unscented Baby-Mild soap when washing my hands. I'm super sensitive and nearly everything irritates my skin or drys it out almost instantly.
This didn't and with it being unscented it was lovely to use as no strong smells on my hands. They felt really clean without the drying effect on them.
The shower soap is the exact same which I also loved. This range is also kind enough to use on small children and babies even if they are sensitive.

Next I used the Hemp Rose if the Pure Castle Soap range in both soap and shower soap.planon is has a soft floral scent which is nice without being over powering. Natural Rose has a healing property and is great for sensitive skin that becomes irritated quite easily so I am an ideal candidate for this..... I absolutely loved it!! Same again to the skin non drying or irritating and lightly scented and left the skin with a really clean feeling. The oil is perfect for in the shower or shaving it heals the skin along with rinsing easy. A little goes a long way with the oils and I loved them.

Overall the Dr. Bronner's Pure Castle Soap are a massive winner with me. The sample sizes and nice and small so I'll be keeping one if these in my bag and ideal for mini break always without having to pack bottles into your toiletries bag.

If you have tried any of the range or plan on picking some up let me know how you get on :)

Viviscal Gorgeous Growth Shampoo & Conditioner

I was recently gifted with Viviscal Gorgeous Growth Shampoo and Conditioner.

I was delighted to receive it in the BloggerConf goody bag as I've had trouble with my hair quite a lot over a number of years.

Like all girls/ladies we love our hair to be shiney, full and thick and sadly not everyone is fortunate enough to have that.  This shampoo and conditioner is designed to give you that effect.
Now I've heard and witnessed amazing results from Viviscal hair growth supplements so thought instantly this should be good.......
I was right!!! :) :)

The shampoo and conditioner both have biotin, keratin and zink to promote a healthy looking hair growth.
It has a nice scent to it without it being to over powering as that normally puts me off a shampoo or conditioner.
A little goes a long way with these products and I was my hair twice and condition.

So let's get down to it.... When I went it brush my hair before blow drying straight from being washed (sometimes can be difficult to brush) the brush glided straight through my hair with very little knots! So far it was a hit.
Drying my hair was very easy and it seemed fuller and more textured when drying it.
The shine off my hair was amazing and it was super healthy looking. In fact my hair itself felt fuller to touch and more heavier... Crazy I know but I'm just being honest!!

Normally the day after washing my hair it normally goes back to that lifeless look but with this it HASN'T :) I'm actually getting to the third day before having to wash it again when normally I only get two days.
I have to say I LOVE LOVE this shampoo and conditioner.

The only down fall is.... Its not properly on the shelf's until January :( so when it runs out I'm going to be gutted!!
Price wise I'm not sure as of yet but I will let everyone know as soon as I find out... And if I'm quite honest I'll pay anything for it for how great my hair looks and feels. I'm rarly woowed by shampoo and conditioner so don't write much about them but my God everyone should have this in their shower with them!!

If you have hair problems weather it be thinning or hair loss I highly highly recommend it and would work amazingly with the supplements.. Now I know they can be quite pricey but well worth it in my opinion!!

I'll keep everyone posted on info and prices :) but in the mean time let me know if this is something you would be interested in let me know :)

Budget Friendly Foundation

As much as I love a high end foundation but for daily use and durability I love Rimmel 25hour Foundation.
I picked this up from Boots for only €9.99.
I picked up shade 'Classic Beige'

This foundation is a full coverage and basically waterproof... I've tested it! Its durability is incredible and it really does last.
Colour guide the selection of colours is okay I guess. I wear quite a lot of tan so its easier to match up but if you are naturally pale and don't wear tan you might struggle a little to get a perfect match sadly :(
That is the only down fall and that's not a bad one.

Two pumps and you also have plenty so one bottle will last you quite awhile!!

It is available in many pharmacy's nationwide and Penny's stores. Its also always great to pick it up when on special offer.
Boots have 3 for 2 at the moment so make sure you pop in and pick it up.
