Ziaja Argan Oil Body Butter

I'm a big fan of Ziaja, they are a great skincare range. I suffer with dry/sensitive skin and find it sooo hard to get a moisturiser than WON'T irritate my skin...
Last year I stumbled across Ziaja in a pharmacy and picked some of it up.... Within a week of using it I was in love with the range!!

The range itself is budget friendly and comes in many many ranges for adults and children, from skincare to hair care.

When it comes to the cold Winter weather we all need that extra bit of protection on our skin and during these months I switch to the Argan Range.
It has natural Argan oils in the range so its that bit stronger in putting moisture back into the skin and suitable for sensitive/irritated skin.
It almost acts like a waterproof film on the skin so as the wind, rain and extreme cold and heat won't get in and effect the skin.
Heating from air conditioning systems and radiators cause havoc on the skin because its an intense heat and going from the cold into the heat isn't good on the skin.

This Argan Oil Body Butter is a Godsend!!! I apply it morning and night and to my hands once or twice throughout the day and my God the difference in my skin. I don't have the redness on the skin we all get in the Winter. My skin isn't dry or scaly.
Its plump and healthy looking.

This cream is a WINTER MUST HAVE in my opinion and with it being only €7.99 (220ml) a little goes a long with this product too so it will last quite awhile too.
The smell is AMAZING without it being to over powering on the skin... I hate creams that smell too strong.
Most pharmacys nationwide stock Ziaja but if not you can get it from Original Beauty online and you will find ALL the ranges there.

EVERYONE SHOULD BE USING THIS FOR THE WINTER !!!

As always if you have tried any of the range or plan on picking it up let me know how you get on :)

PS Love Your Hair Texturising Surf Hair Spray (review)

I picked up this Pennys Love Your Hair Texturising Surf Hair Spray last week and it was only €2.50 so said I'd give it a try and see how it goes.

So its designed to give you that wavy beach look and also give you some texture and volume. I have tried a few of these types of sprays before both in Salons and from the likes of Boots etc. Some I find can leave your hair with lots of knots and almost dirty looking.

This one I have to say I liked!!! You can spray it into wet/damp hair or when your hair is dry. I applied it to my hair the first time when it was freshly washed, dried of the heavy wet and sprayed it to my hair both mid lengths and to the roots. I then left it to dry the rest itself.. I didn't touch my hair for a few hours then.
It did have a wavy look without being greasy or dirty looking. There was very little knots which I liked and was super easy to brush my hair later that evening.
I applied it to my hair the next day on the mid section of the hair and gave it a shake all over at the roots also to give it a bit of a boost.
It actually looked better the second time around it was much more wavy looking and full of volume :)

If you sprayed this into your hair the  night before going out or early that day and put your hair into one big lose plat I'd say it would be much much more wavy!

Overall for €2.50 its deffo a bargain and will be using it more often.. its super handy when your on the go or if you haven't got time to blow dry your hair.

This would make a great stocking filler if your looking for just the simple bits and pieces that us women love..... Don't be too surprised if you find men using it next for that messy kind of look with their longer hair!!!

So as usual if you have tried this or is planning on picking it up let me know how you get on :)

Smokey grungy glittery spotlight eye look

Yesterday I created this look in a step by step guide over on my Snapchat. If you are on Snapchat and don't follow me... go follow @lipstickglitz   :)  I do step by step makeuo guides almost daily and talk about beauty products and complete waffle sometimes too!!!

The look I created was using the Urban Decay Smokey palette.. I had picked it up ages ago but never got around to using it
There was quite a lot of fall out from the shadows and to be honest I wasn't as keen on this palette compared to the rest.. that could be why I had not got around to using it.
There are 12 shades in the palette some matte and some shimmer.

For the transition shade I used "Combust" and blended it below the brow bone using a clean fluffy brush.
I then went in with the shade "whiskey" and using the same fluffy brush I blended that just above the crease and below the transition colour.
Using a flat brush I packed the shade "smoulder" onto the lid and built it up to an intense colour and blended that shade with the same fluffy brush into the crease also.
To darken up the outer and inner corners of the eye I used "black magic" with a small pencil brush and blending it out to remove any harsh lines with a clean fluffy brush.
To intensify the look I applied "armor" to the centre of the lid with a flat brush and using a silver/gold glitter I patted that over the "armor" shade on the lid.
Using a black eyeliner I applied that to the upper and lower waterline and plenty of mascara to add dept to the look.

To really intensify this look you add lashes either strip or individual this would make a fab Christmas look. A nice deep red or burgundy shade would also be lovely. I applied a nude shade just to quickly finish off the look.

Here's the finished eye look

I hope you like the look and if you would like to see more don't forget to check out my Snapchat if you are on it :)

Dr.Bronners Pure Castle Soap

The lovely Nikki from Wholefoods recently gifted me with some of the fav Dr.Bonner's Pure Castle Soap.
I had heard so much about this amazing range and was only delighted to try it out.

All the soaps, shower gels and liquid soaps are organicly made from oils, sea salt and many other natural ingredients.

The packaging is lovely, bright and neat which I loved and super easy to open.... There's nothing worse than when you are in the shower and you can't open a product :(

So I used the Unscented Baby-Mild soap when washing my hands. I'm super sensitive and nearly everything irritates my skin or drys it out almost instantly.
This didn't and with it being unscented it was lovely to use as no strong smells on my hands. They felt really clean without the drying effect on them.
The shower soap is the exact same which I also loved. This range is also kind enough to use on small children and babies even if they are sensitive.

Next I used the Hemp Rose if the Pure Castle Soap range in both soap and shower soap.planon is has a soft floral scent which is nice without being over powering. Natural Rose has a healing property and is great for sensitive skin that becomes irritated quite easily so I am an ideal candidate for this..... I absolutely loved it!! Same again to the skin non drying or irritating and lightly scented and left the skin with a really clean feeling. The oil is perfect for in the shower or shaving it heals the skin along with rinsing easy. A little goes a long way with the oils and I loved them.

Overall the Dr. Bronner's Pure Castle Soap are a massive winner with me. The sample sizes and nice and small so I'll be keeping one if these in my bag and ideal for mini break always without having to pack bottles into your toiletries bag.

If you have tried any of the range or plan on picking some up let me know how you get on :)

Viviscal Gorgeous Growth Shampoo & Conditioner

I was recently gifted with Viviscal Gorgeous Growth Shampoo and Conditioner.

I was delighted to receive it in the BloggerConf goody bag as I've had trouble with my hair quite a lot over a number of years.

Like all girls/ladies we love our hair to be shiney, full and thick and sadly not everyone is fortunate enough to have that.  This shampoo and conditioner is designed to give you that effect.
Now I've heard and witnessed amazing results from Viviscal hair growth supplements so thought instantly this should be good.......
I was right!!! :) :)

The shampoo and conditioner both have biotin, keratin and zink to promote a healthy looking hair growth.
It has a nice scent to it without it being to over powering as that normally puts me off a shampoo or conditioner.
A little goes a long way with these products and I was my hair twice and condition.

So let's get down to it.... When I went it brush my hair before blow drying straight from being washed (sometimes can be difficult to brush) the brush glided straight through my hair with very little knots! So far it was a hit.
Drying my hair was very easy and it seemed fuller and more textured when drying it.
The shine off my hair was amazing and it was super healthy looking. In fact my hair itself felt fuller to touch and more heavier... Crazy I know but I'm just being honest!!

Normally the day after washing my hair it normally goes back to that lifeless look but with this it HASN'T :) I'm actually getting to the third day before having to wash it again when normally I only get two days.
I have to say I LOVE LOVE this shampoo and conditioner.

The only down fall is.... Its not properly on the shelf's until January :( so when it runs out I'm going to be gutted!!
Price wise I'm not sure as of yet but I will let everyone know as soon as I find out... And if I'm quite honest I'll pay anything for it for how great my hair looks and feels. I'm rarly woowed by shampoo and conditioner so don't write much about them but my God everyone should have this in their shower with them!!

If you have hair problems weather it be thinning or hair loss I highly highly recommend it and would work amazingly with the supplements.. Now I know they can be quite pricey but well worth it in my opinion!!

I'll keep everyone posted on info and prices :) but in the mean time let me know if this is something you would be interested in let me know :)

Flormar 352 Blackstar Red

I received this amazing Flormar nail polish at the Bloggerconf recently and I'm in love with the colour. Its shade 352 Blackstar Red priced at €4.45

The brush is nice and small so the polish just glides onto the nail nice and smoothly. The shade is lovely wine shade which is perfect for Christmas and definitely would make a perfect stocking filler.

Flormar is available in many pharmacys Nationwide :)
I can't wait to get my hands on more of the products. I will also be picking up more shades in the polish :)

If want more info or have tried any if the range make sure you let me know how you got on :)

Budget Friendly Foundation

As much as I love a high end foundation but for daily use and durability I love Rimmel 25hour Foundation.
I picked this up from Boots for only €9.99.
I picked up shade 'Classic Beige'

This foundation is a full coverage and basically waterproof... I've tested it! Its durability is incredible and it really does last.
Colour guide the selection of colours is okay I guess. I wear quite a lot of tan so its easier to match up but if you are naturally pale and don't wear tan you might struggle a little to get a perfect match sadly :(
That is the only down fall and that's not a bad one.

Two pumps and you also have plenty so one bottle will last you quite awhile!!

It is available in many pharmacy's nationwide and Penny's stores. Its also always great to pick it up when on special offer.
Boots have 3 for 2 at the moment so make sure you pop in and pick it up.

Glitter Beard Trends

So I don't know if any if you have noticed the new trend or seen much about Glitter Beards... Yes I said it...Glitter Beards ??!!

A couple of weeks ago maybe I seen pics of this craze going up online and at first I thought it was a wind up... Nope its a trend!!

If you are on Instag. m go look at  The Gay Beards two men from America came up with some crazy/fun ideas for beards.

Now as much as I like an owl beard on a big butch man I'm not sure if I could go this far.... Could you imagine your other half coming into and saying "just borrowing some of your pink glitter love.. It will go lovely with what I'm wearing out with the lads tonight" or fighting over the mirror doing both do your faces, and he certainly wouldn't be using my Duraline for all that beard....BITCH PLEASE!!!!
I wouldn't be able for that at all Lipstick, Glitter and Me would turn into Lipstick, Glitter and Us!!

I'm not so sure if it will be a big trend in fairness I always found men to give out about glitter and say its everywhere!!
I've even managed to one lad a sore eye from glitter and by Jesus i never lived it down  for months after....
I got got a new glitter dust from Urban Decay and I thought I was only massive with my glitter eyes on a night as you do... New outfit, new makeup sure he's looking well I'll give him an owl kiss...
Well the next day there was a sore eye.... I'm dying with the pain and it was bloodshot and sure thats just as bad as the MAN FLU!! He couldn't drive home properly from the Weekend away...  Dramatics!! Everytime I'd get ready to go out then... Your not putting that stupid glitter again are ya??!!

(Don't worry ladies I loved my glitter more than him and it was one or the other... I now have a drawer full of glitters)
No other men have been harmed or dangered in another glitter makeup look again!!

So can you imagine the mess and drama over glitter beards.... They would be eating it and there would be sore eyes to beat the band, and women giving out over their glitters being used.

As funky and different as they look I don't think I could go out with a fella rocking a glitter beard I'd either be jealous of their glitter, or not able for the drama going home and the removal process!!

What do you think Ladies??

Beauty Bargain of the Week - Batiste Dry Shampoo

So it's that time of the week again... Monday means Beauty Bargain and this week its for the hair.

Batiste Blush Dry Shampoo is only €2.75 in Penny's which is a great saving as most pharmacy's or stores is over the €3 mark.

Now this dry shampoo is not for everyone you either love or hate it! So personally I think it all depends on your hair type.
Mine is fine but I've a lot of it and can become greasy quite quickly Even so much as touching it will have it dirty looking.
I have to admit tho I'm a massive fan if this one.
It has a soft floral scent to it gives it a fresh smell in between washes.

It can be quite white and chalky when you first spray it to the hair. Leave it for a couple if mintutes to do its job and run your hands through your hair and brush remaining powder out of your hair.
This dry shampoo is great for adding volume to the roots and hair if you have fine or flat hair.

Some people apply it to their hair and sleep in it and brush out the next morning to really let it add volume and clean the hair in between washes.
Now when I say clean your hair in between washes I don't mean leave your hair for days if you wash your hair every second day/daily or weekly. This is designed to freshin up the hair if you don't have time to wash your hair or on the go. Don't use it as something to wash your hair or you will be very disappointed!!

If you have tried it or plan on picking it up let me know how you get on!

Sleek Cosmetics Limited Edition i- Lust Palette

I'm really loving all the new products Sleek Cosmetics are releasing lately... Its just a nightmare to get your hands on them!!

I've been popping in and out of Boots in Liffey Valley a lot in the hope if the New i-Lust Palette The Gold Standard being restocked but I stumbled across it in Kellys Pharmacy and there is was!!
Kelly's had only restocked the Sleek stand and the new palette was there. It was very hard to contain my excitement :) It was only €8.99 which is a massive bargain in my opinion.

There are 6 shades of eye shadows in the palette and two are a creamy texture. They are all fab shimmer shades which are suitable for every eye colour.... I just love them :)
I'm dying to try them out and do a step by step look with them.
If you are on Snapchat head over to my Snapchat if you want to see step by step makeup looks.... lipstickglitz is mine... So go follow :)

If you manage to get your hands on this palette of amazing ness its definitely a Christmas stocking filler!!

Nivea Post Shave Balm

Ok Ladies have you all heard about the amazing Nivea after shave balm????
I had been hearing how great it was as a makeup base/primer so said I'd pick it up and give it a try.

I popped into Super value and it happened to have a special on of €4 for a 100ml bottle. It was a sign!!! ;)
Boots and most supermarkets and pharmacy's stock it so shop around and see who has it on special offer.

The next day I tried it..... And I've been using it ever since!! Its incredible!! No joke... Get out and pick some up if there is none knocking about in your house belonging to your partner/brothers/fathers.
So its not just for men!!!

Because its main ingredient is glycerine this holds your makeup in place and it will not budge from your face along with it improving on skins sensitivity and redness.
I use a small amount daily as my base and just apply a small amount of extra primer just on my T-Zone area as it always tends to become oily no matter what I use.. This prevents this from happening.

I would highly highly recommend this to everyone !! The difference it makes to your makeup when applied it appears more flawless and stays put much much longer.

This is my new holy grail of beauty products :)

Have you tried it or picked it up?
Let me know how you have got on if you have :)

Sleek Cosmetics Solstice Highlighting Palette

So as you all know I'm a massive fan of highlighting and contouring.
I picked up this AMAZING Sleek Cosmetics Solstice highlighting palette for €13.49 in Boots

I had my eye on it for awhile but as usual what you want is nearly almost sold out the minute products hit the shelf! So I waited..... Patiently....kinda!! And finally picked it up.

Mother devine Jesus its AMAZING :)
The pigment and quality in the 4 shades is just incredible. There's a pink, yellow and iced white/yellow powders and one cream shade which ISNA soft pinky/nude tone.

I apply it above my cheeks, tip of nose, above my brows and cupids bow (above the lips)
A little goes a long way with these highlighters.... These are not for the faint hearted but if you love a good highlight then these are your babies!!

The packaging along in fab a lovely rose gold kind of a shade and super shiny.. When you open the palette there's a mirror which is very handy for on the go. The price point is great too and always great when Boots do 3 for 2.
I love the Sleek brand and this is a massive winner in my eyes. They are budget friendly and just as good if not better than highend brands :)

So if you haven't already picked up this Solstice palette get out and get it, this would also make an amazing stocking filler for any makeup lover :)

Physicians Formula event in Lloyd's Pharmacy

Last week I attended a Physicians Formula makeup demo event to celebrate them being launched into Lloyd's Pharmacy in the Ashleaf Shopping Centre.
Physician Formula are an American Cosmetics Brand who are amazing. I've used a few of the products prior to the event and still do such as a highlighter and blush and both come in a compact type of packaging with a mirror or brush built into the really pretty packaging.
The packaging is a complete eye turner and if you are anything like me who is drawn to packaging alone you will love the range. The quality, durability and pricing is both brilliant and reasonable which is also a winner in my opinion!!

So at the event the lovely Emma Farrell who owns efcreativestudios.com demo'd a makeup look using the Physicians Formula brand on the fab Holly Carpenter
Emma went into great detail and talked everyone through the look really well. The do's and don'ts in applying makeup along with answering some great questions along the way.

The brand itself is cruelty free and suitable for all skin types especially sensitive skin....yep I said it even sensitive skin and speaking from and super super sensitive person it does not irritate my skin in anyway!!

Here is the finished look on Holly.... How fab is her makeup :)

From one Makeup Artist to another Emma done a fab job on the makeup look on Holly. She went for a soft smokey eye that is suitable for everyone because its not too heavy on the eyes and soft contouring.
For the eyes Emma used these amazing glitter cream shadows which can be used a base to hold the shadow on top in place and intensify the colour also.
These pots come in a set of three and €16.90 the shimmer pigment in them are amazing!!

The event itself was great I really enjoyed the evening and all the staff at Lloyd's couldn't be anymore helpful and super friendly.
There was a table set up for refreshments and nibbles which was so pretty and I couldn't resist helping myself to a drink from Sprout & Co. A cake pop and cookies
They didn't last long when I got home :)

Physicians Formula kindly gifted everyone with a goody bag with lots of their products which was too kind of them
Happy Booster Bronzer €15.90
Shimmer Strips Eyeshadow & Bronzer €16.90
Smokey Shadow Shimmer Strips €15.90
Shimmer Strips & Liner €15.90
Sexy Booster Lip Gloss €13.90

All reviews on these products will be up soon but in the mean time to see some looks using these products and some of my other Physicians Formula products head over to my Snapchat: lipstickglitz to see daily looks and tips and tricks using these products.

Thank you for taking the time to read all about how I got on at such a lovely event and evening with great company. Make sure you pop into Llyod's Pharmacy as they are nationwide and stock lots more beauty products, skincare, tanning along with general pharmacy products. They do have some amazing pre made hampers in stock for Christmas which are perfect for gifts for every age group. Also thank you to Emily from the Publicity Loft for inviting me and being so lovely on the night :)

Beauty Bargain of The Week - Catrice Liquid Camoflage Concealer

So its that time of the week again..... And I'm delighted that this weeks Beauty Bargain is Catrice Cosmetics Liquid Camoflage High Coverage Concealer!!
For only €3.99 you get this little bit of magic in a tube :) :)

Its one of my Holy Grail products at the moment because of how good it is. I picked one up in the shade 010  Porcelain

It reads:
Liquid, high coverage and ultra long lasting concealer. Perfectly camouflages under eye circles, spots and even tattoos.

I have quite a lot of redness on my face at the moment from medication along with breakouts from dreaded horemones ( men have it way too easy )
You apply it with the wand to any areas of the face but I highlight with it so I apply it under my eyes bringing it down a little to give the highlighted effect.
Its a bit thicker in consistency which is great as it gives you that flawless effect because if its coverage.
It spreads well so you can use your fingers, sponge, beauty blender or brush.
I use my dome shaped kabuki brush!

It says its waterproof.... And it really is so the durability is incredible almost like the Mac Pro Longwear Concealer but slightly thicker in consitancy.
It doesn't crease either which we all love and need in our lives!!
You can also set with powder and bake over it which is great as it stays put and doesn't budge when wiping off excess powder.

For only €3.99 its a complete BARGAIN although I have noticed when Catrice stock their stands it sells out VERY FAST!!  There are two shades available and I went with the lightest shade possible for highlighting.
Although if you do have any blemishes or spots on your face around the nose, chin or jaw line and its paler than your foundation colour. Apply it to them areas first before your foundation as your foundation colour will hide the brightness that bit more.

This would make a perfect stocking filler for any lover of makeup for Christmas :)

Let me know what you think of it or plan on picking it up!! :)

Beauty Bargain of the Week - Tough Stuff

So this weeks Beauty Bargain of the Week is Cocoa Brown's Tough Stuff.
I was recently gifted with this amazing product from SimplyFoxy at the Blog Awards along with many other products!

I'm all for exfoliating once a week at least to remove dead skin cells and old tan to make your skin feel great and fresh for a new layer of false tan.
I normally use the Glove Your Body exfoliating mitt as some products can irritate my skin ( I'm one of the overally sensitive ones )

I wear false tan quite a lot nearly every week so I exfoliate 2/3 times a week. I applied this exfoliator with my mitt in the shower.... Its a lovely pink colour with small exfoliating balls in it to give it that 'rough' feeling on the skin.
With soft gently circular motions literally all dead skin and tan came away from my skin, I was pleasantly surprised!! :)
A little goes a long way too so it will last quite awhile.

I really loved it and my skin wasn't irritated in anyway. My skin was feeling so smooth and soft and made tanning go on super easy afterwards.
Its called the Tough Stuff for a reason and I reckon it could remove the most of stubborn tans!

You can pick up the Tough Stuff for €5.99 from SimplyFoxy online or Penny's.
As much as I love Penny's I'm so glad SimplyFoxy are online and deliver so as we don't have to venture out into the cold and rain in the Winter months ahead :) :)

If you have tried it or plan on picking it up make sure you let me know.

Vitry Nail Repair Treatment

Just over a few weeks ago the lovely Tomas from Conefrey's Pharmacy sent me this Vitry Nail Repair Treatment to try out.

This Vitry Nail Repair treatment is €13.99 for 10mls

As you can see from the picture its not quite clear in colour its more of a cloudy colour. It's designed to strengthen weak, cracked and broken nails within two weeks. You apply it to clean nails every two days and taking care of what you do with them in between the applications every two days. So by this it means be careful when washing, cleaning and opening things like jars and cans.

With my nails being is quite good condition from Conefrey's Hair, Skin, and Nails Supplements I decided to test it out on one of my clients who's nails never grow due to breaking constantly and splitting.
                                                     Here's her nails before
As you can see they are quite short and uneven in shape from breaking so much.

Here's what they look like after three weeks
My client has a massive difference in nail length where she has a tip coming off the free edge of the nails. They are much more healthy looking in colour and appearance. She noticed they felt much more stronger when it came to opening things and after washing up or having hands submerged in water. They don't bend as much either.
They have come on a long way. She followed all instructions correctly and applied it every two days as guided. She loves them!! :) :)

Overall I'm delighted with the progress in such short amount of time. It just proves that certain nail repair treatment polishes do work!!!
I would suggest if your nails aren't weak, cracked or brittle not to use it because it will make your nails too hard and cause them to break. As you can see in the second pic above very little is gone from the bottle after 3 weeks of applying every 2 days so it will last you quite awhile....Can you imagine how good your nails would look in three months time using this?!

I would highly recommend this product and would also suggest that you take Conefrey's Hair, Skin and Nail supplements also with this product to really give your nails a good boost and help them improve greatly. I stand behind both products as a guarantee they have worked!!!

Here are the Conefrey's Hair, Skin and Nail supplements also
These are €7.49

With it coming into the Winter this is the time our nails, skin and hair get effected by the cold and wind, along with the heat conditions in work or home so make sure you pick up either or both to protect yourself for the Winter months ahead!!

Conefrey's Pharmacy are in Pearse Street, Dublin 1.
They don't have an online site but Tomas will send you either of these products out to you if you are not in the area or outside of Dublin.
If you want to pick up either of these just get in touch with myself of Tomas and we can get it organised for you.

If you plan on picking up either of these amazing products or already have them make sure you let me know how you get on with them!!

Boyne Country Candles

Recently the lovely Denise from Boyne Country Candles gifted me with this Amazing Jamaica candle which is made with exotically fragrance oils and soy wax. Which smells absolutely define!! I'm quite fussy when it comes to candles and their scents... I find some can be very over powering and sometimes can give me a headache if burning too long. This candle is lovely and subtly scented and not over powering at all!! Which I obviously love and can cannot get enough of!!

Denise herself hand makes these candles (how amazing is that)
She uses frangrance oils and soy wax everything she uses is all natural products so there are no chemicals burning into the air space around you.
She has a range which are names on places around the world which when you might then it almost takes you to that place with the smell in the room... This idea I loved especially with this weather just sit back and close your eyes and imagine you are there.... Just don't open your eyes and look out the window to see rain ;)

There is an aray of choices to chose from the 'take me to' range which I can guarantee you you'll struggle to pick one because they all smell so lovely!

Denise also has a Organic range which are made more essential oils such as Eucalyptus, Lavender, plus lots more. These are also amazing in scent without being too much! These reminded me of being in a day spa and the smells you would pick from either having a massage or just from being in the spa itself.

With them all being hand made they are very affordable from €12.50 to €15.00 I think they are priced great! I have had mine burning for a few days now and very little has actually gone from the candle itself where as you can pick up candles and be lucky to get two days of burning out of some!

I'm also delighted to say that Denise will also be showcasing the Boyne Country Candles at the Ladies Day in the Green Isle hotel, Dublin which we have organized for chairty. She will have special offers on the day for candles sales on the day.

Thanks a million Denise for my lovely candle I'll definitely be picking up more from you soon.
For anyone looking to pick some up I've attached the link in the name above.

Beauty Bargain of the Week - Ziaja Argain Oil Hand Cream

With the weather getting colder and miserable we need to protect our skin. Heating systems, radiators, air conditioning units in the work place all dry out the skin aside from the dreaded Winter weather. So this is why this weeks Beauty Bargain is Ziaja Natural Argan Oil hand cream €3.99.

This Argan oil hand cream is amazing because of its properties... The argan oil and glycerin acts as a barrier against the cold and heat on the skin. While the minerals and vitamins repair the skin and prevent any more drying on the skin.

I've used and tried the Argan oil shower gel and it was amazing. The hand cream doesn't leave a greasy or tacky fininsh to the hands when you apply it. After a minute or two its completely soaked in leaving the skin feeling soft and plump. Its even got a soft mild scent to it from the Argan oil which is lovely but not over powering. There's nothing worse than a hand cream that stinks of a strong perfume!!

This hand cream is definitely one for beside the bed and applied morning and night and one for in the handbad for when you are on the go. Price wise its only €3.99 which is a bargain considering a pea sized amount goes a long way.

So make sure you get yours and get your skin protected and help the dryness or cracked skin on your hands before the cold makes it worse.

You can order online from here or most pharmacy's nationwide stock the Ziaja range.

Artistry Hydra-V Collection

I attended a Artistry Hydra-V seminar a couple of weeks ago to show and tell everyone about the new collection.

The Hydra-V collection is a deep hydration range with can be used on all skin types to rehydrate the skin.
This range is so incredible that even if you have a oily combination skin type you can use it... In fact its suitable for ALL skin types.

Hydration can be difficult to treat in the skin especially finding the right product, aside from taking in the correct amount of water everyday we all want that perfect cream or serum to treat our skin but also not leaving the skin with a greasy film or tacking finish to the skin.
Hydra-V does not do this at all in fact it instantly treats the skin and you notice and feel a difference straight away.

Now when I heard this on the day I was a total sceptic because I've tried and tested many brands and products to treat dehydration and never had an instant effect that lasted all day. You always need to give it a few days and then a full 4 weeks or more to notice a real difference.

Well wait and I tell you about this....  I was kindly gifted with a Hydra-V Fresh Toner and Nourishing Gel Cream.
When I went home that evening I removed my makeup with my usual cleanser and then I used the Hydra-V Toner and I didn't have a tightish feeling that I normally do have on mg face after using toners. I then used the Nourishing Gel Cream and instantly my skin felt lovely.

The next morning like most mornings when I wake I can always have like a flaky like look to my skin especially the forehead and patches on my cheeks and there was none. I've continued to use both the tone and gel cream for 4 weeks now and my skin has become more plump and  better in colour. Its not as dull or grey looking and literally no flaking on any areas of the face.

I've never once came across a skincare product to actually do what it says and treat dehydration quite like it.

Thus range is that little more expensive that your average brand that you would go for but they are every bit worth their money in my opinion.
It can be purchased in some salons and day spas or take a look here for more information and where to pick some up.

If you suffer with dehydration ibwoukd highly recommend it. Anyone who does have dehydration the cold weather and winds is only going to make it worse so now is the time to really treat it and prevent it from getting worse.

Let me know if you have picked this range up or plan on getting any of the products.

Beauty Bargain of the Week - Conefrey's Hair, Skin and Nail Caplets

So it's that time of the week again... Monday's Beauty Bargain of the Week!!!
This week its a little different but its still beauty related :)

For us to have nice hair, skin and nails we need to be looking after them properly and by that I mean we need to be eating the right foods and taking supplements if needed.
I have tried many many different supplements to strengthen up both my hair and nails and to improve skin. Conefrey's Hair, Skin and Nails Supplements are by far the best I've EVER TRIED!! You need to be on a course of supplements for atleast three months to really know if they are working for you and doing what they are supposed to do..

So for the past couple of months I've been taking these....
They are €7.49 for 30 caplets. Which is super cheap compared to other brands on the market out there. They only contain what you need in you're system to improve you're Hair, Skin and Nails which is what I love about them because there are so many out there with every vitamin and nutrient under the sun in one bottle, and if you're like me there are certain things I can't have! So these in my opinion are fantastic.

Now within a month I had noticed a massive improvement which I had shared on my Facebook page to show everyone but now I'm going to show you my hair.
(Both pictures are within a few days of each other my hair colour just changes when around different lighting)
This is me :) and this is my hair from the front now as you can tell you can't see the ends where my hair is because I was taking a picture of my makeup I was doing a particular look... I have never had this problem before because my hair has NEVER been this length naturally! I had been wearing hair extensions for a number of years but took them out a year ago when my hair had grown to just below my shoulders...
This is now the length of my hair from the back..
My hair has growm a crazy amount in the last 4 months where its now the longest it has even been since I was a kid!! When getting my hair colour done or doing it myself I always got at least 4 weeks out of it... Now I'm getting 2 weeks and I have roots. How crazy and amazing is a complaint like that :)
So this is why Conefrey's Hair, Skin and Nails Supplements

The Rise Pharmacy

Hey everyone!!

So last week I popped out to The Rise Pharmacy in Unit 1 Woodpark, The Rise, Glasnevin, Dublin.
I had been chatting previously to the lovely Jennifer who works there and she invited me out to see the place.

The pharmacy itself is there 3 years already and stock many many products which I will show you, but firstly I just want to tell you about how I got... The pharmacy itself its spotless, lovely and clean and everyone is really friendly. Customers popped in while I was there and the staff couldn't do enough for them which I loved because there is nothing worse than feeling uncomfortable and rushed out of a shop.
Jennifer herself was really friendly, helpful and very bubbly person so we chatted for ages without even realising the time going bye. I would highly recommend anyone in the area either working, living near to pop in a have a look around. Wait until you see what they have in the store and what else is due to come soon to the pharmacy.....

Now as we all love out beauty products and essentials I took a few pictures to show you what they sell....
As you all know how much I love Sleek I was delighted to see they have Sleek in stock.. Blush, Highlight and contour palettes, and Brow kits.

SoSu is also available in store for all you SOSU fans out there... I can't wait to see
what shades The Rise will have in stock for Autumn/Winter.

Now I have to share with you the amount of tanning products they stock... Cocoa Brown, Dove, Sally Hansen and Rimell. Along with these brands they also stock tanning mitts, exfoiliators etc.

Along with all the general pharmacy items that pharmacy's have like hair colour, toiletries for men and women, femaine hygiene, shampoo and conditioner, shower gel, razors for men and women. The Rise had a nice selection of Skincare which I loved. Not many pharmacy's stock many skin care ranges.

As you can see there a great selection from La Roche Posay, Elave, Uriage, Aveeno, E45, Clarins, Nivea, Simple, Garnier plus many more.
While I was there the lovely Jennifer gifted me with this lovely hamper of La Roche Posay products to try which I will have a review up soon about.

Now I'm not sure if many of you have heard about the Green Angel range before but The Rise stock it and I have to say its absolutely fab. Its like a holistic range of creams, exfoilators which I was also giving two samples to try... I will let you all know soon about them. The smell alone from the range was lovely, they smell like a range that would be in a luxury spa :)

Among the many ranges and products and items they also have this lovely Celtic Candles selection and my God the smells of them where just fab!! These will defiantly be added to my Christmas list.. Ideal for all candle lovers out there too!!

While I was in the store chatting to everyone Jennifer also told me they make hampers up for people in store which is a great idea for Christmas presents, birthdays and gifts. You can pick out your own items and have them made into a hamper or pick from some of the already made up in store ones.

I don't think there is anything in The Rise Pharmacy that you wouldn't want to pick up or add to your Christmas list, so I would suggest everyone pop in and take a look to see what they have. There was so much items and products to chose from, I couldn't put all of them up or this post would be flooded with pictures :)
They will also be getting in the new Flormar makeup range which is amazing and affordable so when its in store I will let everyone know.

The pharmacy are also doing a Christmas savings club so pop in and get some information about it.. its  great way to start saving for gifts for Christmas!!

If you do pop in make sure you say you heard about it from Lipstick, Glitter and Me :)
